The AireSone Junior Device works as follows:

1. Insert the Sensor into the Silicone Patch.

2. Place the Sensor and Silicone Patch onto the right side of your child’s chest.

3. Access live readings of your child’s respiratory rate and heart rate via the AireSone App on your phone.

Which age group is the AireSone Junior Device suitable for?2021-01-12T13:51:17+08:00

The AireSone Junior Device can be used by anyone above the age of three.

What is AireScore?2021-01-12T13:50:35+08:00

Based on your child’s heart rate and respiratory rate, a 5-point scale AireScore will reflect their overall well-being. At AireScores 3 and below, you will receive a notification for your attention.

What comes in the AireSone Junior box?2021-01-12T13:56:23+08:00

You will receive a Sensor, three Silicone Patches, a Docking Station, a charging cable, a power adapter, a patch holder and a user manual. If you ordered additional Silicone Patches, you will receive them in a separate box.

What is the difference between the Sensor and the Silicone Patch?2021-01-12T14:14:15+08:00

The Sensor listens to your child’s chest sounds and interprets them into respiratory and heart rate readings. The Silicone Patch allows the Sensor to be comfortably placed onto your child’s chest.

While the Sensor can be reused repeatedly, the Silicone Patch can only be used until the adhesive wears off. If so, new Silicone Patches will need to be purchased.

NOTE: The adhesive and the Silicone Patch are hypoallergenic. However, if the patch causes your child any skin irritations, consult a medical professional immediately.

Is the AireSone Junior Device a medical device?2021-01-12T14:14:38+08:00

The AireSone Junior Device is a consumer product that provides parents with real-time tracking of their child’s respiratory rate and heart rate. The AireSone Junior Device is not an FDA-approved medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, including Asthma and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Does the AireSone Junior Device guarantee the safety of my child?2021-01-12T14:15:37+08:00

No. The AireSone Junior Device is a consumer respiratory wellness device that aims to provide parents with insights into their child’s well-being. Unlike a medical device, the AireSone Junior Device is not designed to diagnose, cure, treat or prevent any health condition. Parents are still responsible for their own child’s health and well-being.

Follow these steps to attach the Sensor onto the right side of your child’s chest:

  1. Peel off the plastic film at the back of the Silicone Patch.

  2. Place the Sensor into the empty pocket of the Silicone Patch with the bear icon facing downwards. Ensure the white disk on the Sensor is facing you.

  3. Once the Sensor is inside the Silicone Patch, proceed to place the patch together with the Sensor onto the right side of your child’s chest.

Can the Sensor be worn to sleep?2020-10-05T14:32:14+08:00

Yes! The Sensor is designed with comfort in mind and can therefore be worn to sleep without affecting sleep quality. The device is only 0.4 inches (10mm) in height so the Sensor is barely noticeable! You could even sleep on your stomach while the Sensor is on your chest!

Can the Sensor be used on-the-go?2020-10-05T14:42:04+08:00

No. You need to ensure that the Sensor is in close proximity to the Docking Station at all times. The Docking Station will also need to be constantly connected to a power supply in order for it to function.

How long does the adhesive on the Silicone Patch last?2021-01-08T11:55:12+08:00

Our Silicone Patches are reusable up to 4 times with everyday use. However, if the patch on the sensor is no longer adhesive and does not stay on your child’s chest, it is an indication to replace it.

Does the AireSone Junior Device work with twins/multiples?2021-01-12T13:51:42+08:00

Each child will need their own separate and complete AireSone Junior device as well as their own separate accounts in the AireSone App.

Unfortunately currently, the AireSone App is unable to add multiple child profiles and track data from multiple Sensors all within the same account. You would therefore need to create two or more separate accounts on the AireSone App if you have more than one child.
